October 2018

Dear Friends,

An incredible number of people have been working tirelessly to bring our Colors of Persia dance concert to the stage this weekend. Over 25 musicians and dancers are gathering in the Bay Area for a single evening Saturday Sept. 29, some driving or flying great distances, to bring audiences a performance of the diverse cultures, music, and dance traditions of Persia. Purchase tickets in advance as seating is limited. Come as early as 5:30pm to participate in some social time at the venue with tea and sweets, music, and a Silk Road Bazaar. Look for more details below.

October and November I am presenting special sacred and traditional dance intensives and tours worldwide. First, I return to Cumberland, BC to present Dances of Greater Khorasan–a workshop in the folk and sacred dances of the Khorasani people of Iran. From there, join me in Turkey for the Warriors of Light retreat and learn the ancient dances and rituals of ancient Sufi warriors. My signature Dance of the Soul intensive comes to Lebanon on October 27-29. Next, in Izmir Turkey, Dr. Gürbüz Aktaş and I present a traditional Azeri dance intensive. I am offering a cultural dance tour of Iran this Fall. Lastly, join me for an evening of self-care and rejuvenation with ancient Persia healing rituals, sacred dance, and essential oils with Anna Tao on November 17.

Blessings,
Farima
