“Everything in dance is poetry. Every movement describes a story, a feeling. The dancer takes the audience into a world of fairy tales.” ~Farima Berenji
Join us for a FREE Levitt Pavilion San Jose concert, with food vendors, community, and cultural programming by FOUR different groups, curated by Mosaic America.
Mosaic America strengthens communities, cultivates belonging, and catalyzes inclusion through intercultural and co-created cultural experiences. Mosaic’s thoughtfully curated programming weaves through the forgotten and remembered journeys in and of a specific Place, presenting living moments that are drawn from all our histories. They work with local artists and community leaders to authentically represent cultures collaboratively and inclusively, to irrevocably cultivate Belonging. Through the pieces of art created during this process, they uncover threads that connect our different cultures, proving once again that art can unite us. On Sunday you will be able to see the amazing talent displayed by Kawayan Folk Arts, the Simorgh Dance Collective, Ensamble Folclorico Colibri (EFC), and Grupo Puyakan
