This last month has been amazingly full and diverse sharing lectures, workshops, performances, and healing. Thank you World Arts West for inviting me to participate in a prestigious non-western dance healing discussion panel as well as offer a whirling workshop among participants. I enjoy sharing the wonder of Persian dance with the talented artists and culture bearers of Mosaic America. Together we help demonstrate an inclusiveness and understanding so woefully needed among people today. I wish to also express my great thanks to the artists and organizers of the SpARC 2025 Festival in San Jose and the Roya Foundation Mehregan Festival 2025 in San Ramone for inviting the Simorgh Dance Collective and I to perform. I hope we may work together again soon.
This month I continue to promote my new book Companions of the Sun and present sacred dance and whirling workshops, performances, and gatherings for a week in New York. Be sure to look for and register for my offerings below. Later this month I return to Los Angeles to present sacred dance workshops and performances.
