DESCRIPTION:Sufi Teaching and Turning Workshop\nLearn the ancient dance practices and technique of Sema in this special one hour workshop. \nSuggested donation: $18. Stay for the Sema Gathering at no further cost. \nSema Gathering\nJoin us on a path for healing and self growth through the power of whirling\, dance\, poetry\, Zikr (prayer)\, music\, and stillness. In that journey\, the promptings of the Inner Divine are found and loving kindness and compassion flow naturally into our dance and our daily lifestyle. \nWe will open with sacred and mystical Persian poetry and meditation\, journey into whirling\, healing\, and Persian and Near Eastern healing dances/rituals and Zikr\, then close our gathering with chanting\, drumming\, and sharing.  Includes live music and vocals. \nSuggested $15 – 25 donation\, and no cost with 4:30-5:30pm workshop donation.
