“Whenever we look deep inside our dance we come to realize as human beings how we are all connected. Dance creates peace, love, harmony, and understanding among all people. Dance is our universal language. Dance can be our cure.”
~Farima

Dear Friends,
After a two week break, I am back to teaching and performing again! The past two weeks I had the honor of performing and giving workshops for more than 300 people at the National Folk Dance Association and at the beautiful Montavlo Art Center! My travels have taken me to Turkey and now to Lebanon and soon to Iran.

Stay tuned for some amazing performances and retreats coming up! Feeling so blessed
Please note all weekly classes will resume this week. A Sema Gathering and whirling workshop will be coming to the SF Bay Area, New York and Lebanon.

Last but not least, I am so grateful for all the remarkable people who have stepped up to make donations and help support artists and organizations struggling to adjust to new realities for the past year. If you would like to help support the Simorgh Dance Collective and my work please make a donation online at http://donate.farimadance.com or contact me to share other ways you may contribute.

Wishing you safety, love, and health,
Farima

“Nothing can help me but that beauty.
There was a dawn I remember
When my soul heard something from your soul.
I drank water from your spring
And felt the current take me.”

― Rumi
