Dear Friends,
This has been an amazing year of dance for the Simorgh Dance Collective and I, one I am very grateful for. I’ve enjoyed meeting, participating, and learning with so many of you worldwide. As this year is coming to a close there are still special events and performances you will all like.
Come to a special holiday fundraiser and celebration for the Simorgh Dance Collective. There will a short workshop of traditional Silk Road folk dances, a Silk Road bazaar of many ethnic treasures, performances by the Simorgh Dance Collective and the Aylan Azeri Dance Group, and a participatory dance party. All proceeds help benefit the work of the Simorgh Dance Collective.
Join me for fellowship in a sacred dance twice more before the year end. December 15 we will honor Rumi in whirling dance, meditation, music, and poetry. On December 22 join our gathering performing ancient rituals to celebrate Yalda, the winter solstice. Look for more details below.
